Greatest Hearts Desire

It starts with being present

Being vigilant

When ever we teach an Ishayas Ascension meditation course two of the first questions we ask are, what do you hope to gain from this course and what is your greatest hearts desire. Generally speaking most people answer with some kind of answer that revolves around, peace, joy, love, bliss or waking up (enlightenment). These may start to show up more and more, if they are not already your experience with conscious awareness which is an expanded byproduct of a regular practice of meditation, the key words here are regular practice.
Choose your passion and be loyal to that one dame passion no matter what and make it your priority. Peace of mind was my original  greatest hearts desire.  Being vigilant with my practice, created a sense of understanding and awareness  about what I was thinking. The greatest revelation being that I realized I am not my thinking! Thinking being the greatest hindrance to the peace I desired. It finally donned on me one day during a meditation that I am, nor my life, not what I think about all day long. DUHHH. Peace of mind then simply became a choice.
At first I needed to figure out and understand the why,(EGO) of my stuff, instead of just letting it go. ( Letting go is a whole other conversation ).That created even more stress. Finally it became obvious that it was so much easier to just meditate, get present, surrender to life, choose for peace of mind and make that my priority. It can be that easy.
It starts with being present, aware and having a desire to wake up from the trappings of the mind, what my guru calls the mini me. That is where you are going to find your greatest hearts desire, by being present to what is. My greatest hearts desire today is just be love, Thats it thats all baby just be love.

And from the Course in Miracles Lesson #188 ” Why wait for Heaven? Those who seek the light are merely covering there eyes. The light is in them now. Enlightenment is but a recognition, not a change at all.”
